Red T

Protecting Lives

Lúgh Studio has high regard for organizations such as Red T. A volunteer-fueled initiative, Red T raises awareness of the unprotected status of translators and interpreters in high-risk settings and advocates for policy change worldwide. Hard as it is to believe, linguists are more likely to be killed in conflict zones than soldiers – even as they strive to foster peace. In response, the non-profit works tirelessly to promote the safety of these translators and interpreters and we wholeheartedly support their critical efforts.

The postcards, web banners, conference banners, and conflict zone field guides that Lúgh Studio designed are part of the arsenal in Red T’s advocacy campaign. You can read the Conflict Zone Field Guide for Civilian Translators/Interpreters and Users of Their Services yourself in English, Arabic, Dari, Dutch, French, Hebrew, Pashto, Spanish and Swedish, (with more languages to follow).
