This event needed an icon that spoke to interconnectivity of the science community and the donors that help fund scientific advancement. The creative needed to be exciting, elegant and incorporate the host city, our hometown of New York City. The molecule was chosen as a logo system because it suggests the very building blocks of life, has awesome power, and mimics massively huge astrological bodies.
We built a brand system to illustrate the overall arch of the program. The logo featured a signature color combination for each event, allowing participants to quickly distinguish between events.
Founded in 1944, the Committee develops philanthropic support for the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel, one of the world’s premier scientific research institutions. The Weizmann Institute is a center of basic multidisciplinary scientific research and graduate study, addressing crucial problems in technology, medicine and health, energy, agriculture, and the environment.
